2nd Budget Laptops

For a student, the money is tight, is a budget laptop is a good buy. Among them are the cheapest laptops from Dell, Toshiba and HP. I personally find the Toshiba Satellite A215-S4747 notebook with a big budget. You get an AMD dual-core on that perfrom well with most applications. TheyAlso, a large 200 GB hard drive and a large number of ports for peripherals.

There is also a nice Sony VGN-NR160E / S, which (surprisingly) is in the budget category. Out of the box, this device offers the Intel Core 2 Duo T5250, 1 GB of RAM and a large 160GB hard drive - a lot of computing power at affordable prices.

If you prefer a more powerful laptop and do not mind a little weight, so try a thin and lightPortable. Some of the models I can think about me including Lenovo, Sony and HP.

The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ280E is a very good choice for a slim and light notebooks. This system comes with a Blu-ray compatible, which can also burn CDs and DVDs. You also get an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM and a large 250GB hard disk.

Another model we consider is the HP Pavilion dv6675us. You will receive an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB hard drive. The 4 GB of RAMThis is a great feature, it will be very useful if you are a student of finance or science and the need for computationally intensive applications.

4th Ultra Portable

If the size and weight of the laptop is very important to you, after an ultra-portable laptop. These notebooks offer high performance computing very well in a very small and compact.

In this category, I think the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 is an excellent choice for students. It is a bit "pricey (but not tooetc.), but one of the most powerful laptops around. It weighs only 3 pounds and is a portable device. You also get an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM, 100 GB hard drive completely. You get no built-in DVD burner, however - the unit that is outside of the laptop.

Another good option is the Toshiba Portege R500-S5001X. It weighs 2.4 pounds and measures less than an inch thick. This is one of the laptop is thinner and lighterthe market. It is also very inexpensive.
